About the ARTIST

Elise Boucquez is a painter and drawing artist based in Ghent, Belgium. She has a background in music, and she is also a teacher at the academy for arts in Alost.

Her work is repetition based, focussing on the abstraction of the subject and digging for it’s deeper meaning. She primarily works with paint researching colour and offsetting it to her chosen subject for the show in this instance: ‘Waves’
